Moved again!

We have left the Pinal County Park and moved to the ELK's Lodge in Apache Junction for a couple of nights. Our windshield view has changed as evidenced by the attached pics. At least I hope they are attached. Saturday, we will move over to the Santa Fe RV Park with power, water, pool, club house, etc, etc and Lou can start quilting projects once again. I'll go scout out some appropriate flying sites. Maybe I can keep my consecutive flying day streak going a while longer. Hearing about the weather in the Northwest makes me feel a little (very little) guilty about missing it. Sunny and 70 today with a 30% chance of some precip on Sunday or Monday. We'll be all hooked up and comfy by then:)

New Pics

Here are some of the pics taken of the sunrise and moonset plus a pic of the beautiful glass fish that Aaron made for us at his Glass Arts class. He is really gifted in so many ways and we are fortunate to have him as a grandson. The moonset and sunrise were taken at the same time. The pic of the RV shows off our new patio mat and our friends, Joe and Noreen, from CA we met in Blythe last year. Ane yes, we went flying again this morning for my 10th consecutive day:)

Back at Pinal Park

We moved back to "our County Park" and have been joined by some friends we met in Blythe last year, Joe and Noreen. Joe also flies RC planes and we have flown pretty much every day at various locations. I still fly in the park here using the main entry road as runway. Joe prefers more "space" for flying and landing so we go over to one of the secondary roads and fly there. I have added a small plane to my fleet, the "Champ" and can fly it almost anywhere. It has become my "I'm bored, I'm going to go fly" plane. Just pop the small battery in it and push it into the air.

Weather has been very nice (not so much yesterday as it was cloudy all day) but quite cold in the AM's. Nice views of sunrises and sunsets and really pretty moon setting at sunrise. I'll add a couple of pics on the next entry. Time to send this while Verizon is "cooperating".
